In A SENSE OF, the audience is invited to co-create a space where collective power and dreaming emerge as forms of protest. Starting from environmental concerns, we question the future and invite reflection on how we shape it in the present. Through a cyclical process of metamorphosis, the boundaries between audience and performer dissolve, giving way to a surreal space where non-hierarchical, ecological and inclusive structures take shape, and where the simplest dreams can be dreamed.
A SENSE OF is a territory of transformation, a journey from excess towards sustainability, where we long for a different future.
Beatriz Lourenço is a choreographer, dancer, performer and handpoke artist, based in Porto.
She has a master’s degree in Cultural Studies and Management from ISCTE – IUL, a degree in Dance from ESD – IPL and also completed FAÍCC dance training.
