“No Face”, by Thalia Agapaki
No Face is a dance solo about gender-based violence, centered on survivor recovery, dealing with the truth, finding safety and communication. It portrays the relationship between a survivor and their thoughts, a body that loses its identity after a trauma. Thoughts and memories grow, inhabiting even the simplest moments. The play questions how trauma transforms a person, its impact on everyday life and whether society is prepared to listen, accept and support survivors. Dancing can make a difference.
