“Somewhere | in a faeric mutation” is a performative, interdisciplinary, and process-based project that intersects gesture, installation, and drawing.
The creative process begins with the collection of discarded cardboard, gathered through states of wandering and drift. In the studio, through cutting and reorganizing fragments into various geometries, an action unfolds centered on the construction of an installative landscape, summoned as a shared ceremony with the audience.
From this performative relationship, the project seeks to evoke a reflective experience of landscape as a poetic, political, and sensorial construction.
Flávio Rodrigues (1984, Vila Nova de Gaia) is an artist who has been developing his projects since 2006. His work is experimental and process-based, in which the practice of walking and drifting emerges as a central axis of creation—functioning as a form of research in motion that explores materialities and objectualities, serving as the foundation for the development of performances and actions.
