It’s a path with no return.

Cacá Otto Reuss (she/her), dancer, emerging choreographer, and movement researcher, was born in Porto, Portugal, where she began her dance training at Ginasiano.

She worked as a dancer for Companhia Instável and later decided to continue her academic studies in Brazil, where she earned a degree in dance from Faculdade Angel Vianna. While in Brazil, she founded and directed Companhia Motirô, a performing arts company.

Later, back in Portugal, during the pandemic, she created and developed the movement practice Chamá Pélvis and has since been teaching and deepening her studies in contemporary dance, pelvic health, and twerk techniques.

She currently works with choreographer Marco da Silva Ferreira, choreographer Catarina Miranda, and is part of the dance ensemble of fado singer Ana Moura.
